CHINESE NOODLES WITH SHRIMP

  


To prepare these Chinese noodles with shrimp and vegetables we will need:

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
400g of noodles
1 clove of garlic
1 carrot
1/2 onion
1 green bell pepper
1/2 tablespoon ginger powder
1/2 tablespoon cayenne powder
200g shrimp
50 to 100ml of soy sauce
Salt and pepper
Chopped parsley or coriander

RECIPE OF CHINESE NOODLES WITH PRAWNS AND VEGETABLES:
1.- We cook the noodles.  For it, we throw a handful of salt in abundant boiling water. Add the noodles and let them cook for about 10 minutes. Until they are "al dente". To prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot, stirring frequently, especially at the beginning of cooking.

2.- Once they are cooked, we drain them from the water and let them rest, while we prepare the rest of the ingredients.

3.- In a wok, or in a wide frying pan, put a dash of oil over high heat. When it is hot, add the chopped garlic, the onion cut into julienne strips, the carrot in more or less large cubes, and the bell pepper also cut into cubes of approximately the same size. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 4 minutes.

4-  Add the peeled shrimps and mix everything again. Let it cook for a couple of minutes more until the shrimps have colored.

5.- After the time, add the noodles, the soy sauce, the quantity to taste, the ginger, and the cayenne. With these last two ingredients, be careful because they are quite spicy. Add also quantity to taste. Mix all the ingredients until they are well blended.

6.- All that remains is to serve on plates and sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley.
